Green paper: A concise guide to DSARs for schools
Anyone whose data you have, or those with parental responsibility, can request access to their information. This includes pupils, parents, employees, contractors, suppliers, partners, and so on –it is not just about pupils.
DSARs can come in any form – a letter, an email, a phone call, a direct message on social media, or can even be made in person. As such, everyone in your organisation needs to know how to recognise an access request and what to do with it.
